2018 TLX vs 2017 Accord coupe V6 manual tranny?

I'm trying to decide between these two. I like the more luxurious aspect of the TLX but reading lots of posts about the transmission being a dog. I like the looks of the Accord coupe and the fun factor of the manual transmission V6 but there seems to be lots of front wheel spinning with acceleration complaints. I work from home and don't need to commute so the manual isn't much of an issue in stop and go traffic for me. I drove an automatic Accord V6 coupe and the seat comfort seemed less than appealing.

Any thoughts, alternatives?

yeah, learn to feather the throttle...don't mash the gas at a stop...if you do, you will get wheel spin.
and then buy stickier tires.

also, go test drive both.
we cant tell you specific nuances through text....you have to be able to feel and figure out what you like better...
Have you driven the TLX? did you get a feel for the seats? did you get a feel for the transmission?? if not, go test drive...

I had a 2010 TL FWD and I live in a city with a lot of hills. Every time I left a traffic lite the front wheels would spin. When I got my 2017 TLX SH-AWD no more wheel spin.

justnspace is correct, feather the gas and drive them both then decide

I wouldn't really call it an upgrade, more of a side-grade (it's different, and better for some people, but not me) I significantly prefer the FWD over the AWD. The AWD is less of a "fun" car - sure, it's easier to accelerate in turns than the FWD, but it just feels too "safe" and not exciting. It's too easy to drive, and too hard to spin your tires when you WANT to do so.

Oh - different models of TLX have significantly different seats! I like the seats in the "Tech" and ASpec packages (maybe some other) better than the fake leather, but more "plush" seats of the 2.4L base that I had as a loaner. I've had my 2018 FWD TLX for years and the front wheels don't spin unless I WANT them to. (Well, one time my computer systems all failed and the car would spin the front tires much more readily when I didn't want it, but that's related to a squirrel chewing my wiring harness and doing thousands of dollars of damage).
