No more LED for 4 cyl !????

So they go back to basically the same headlights I have on my '09 TSX?!? I like my headlights but for this model it seems kind of backwards,

Of course one needs to wait until the finished product but overall it looks like it is going to be pretty boring,

I see exposed exhaust tips!

Visible exhaust outlets are back for those who care.

Might be fakes & part of the camo. Look just like G3 exhausts.

Major cost cutting on the headlights to lower the MSRP for 4 cyl?

The LEDs did get a bad review did they not. Good old fashioned HIDs or LEDs in a projector might be better for output/range/etc.
Ive seen a few new MDX's now and the grill looks great IMO.

Pretty sure it has the LEDs... that is their signature after all.

Im hoping the new rear bumper fits the earlier models so we can modify ours...

You guys are killing me...it has like 50 pounds of camo on it and already complaints of "boring design" "No LEDs" etc. This is a heavily camouflaged test mule. Relax.

I really don't think they will remove the jewel eye led's. They usually put ugly headlights on test mules, check out the 2014 mdx test mule, it had halogen reflector headlights for crying out loud.

Could be a single lens LEDs like the Honda Pilot Max out model?

Or it could be a heavily camouflaged test mule that doesn't even have the actual production headlights on it yet...since it's just a test mule.

I highly doubt they will change the headlight so soon. If that was the intention, wouldn't it had been on the 2017 MDX along with the new grille?

Front will be even uglier tan 09 TL. 2015 Was perfect in my eyes.

I'm sure the headlights will be LEDs, they may change up the shape etc, but they made a big deal out of the "Jewel Eyes" thing and for me they work really well. I have no complaints. Nice to see the exhaust tips backs. I'm not so sure about the direction of the new grill. Looks really busy to me. Kind of looks like the Mercedes C Class grill. Have to see it in the flesh. But I'm more curious about drive trains. I'm pretty turned off by my ZF so I'm not sure I really care about the next TLX or not.

Oh my goodness, Acura needs to get rid of those awful, cheap-looking rims....!!!

I cant get past the huge emblem.... seriously, wtf did make them think that it looked awesome... looks like lexus or infiniti is my next car if i decide to return my tlx at lease end. Maybe even a genesis.

They are not going to show new wheels on a test mule. But yes those crappy wheels have to go. But Acura has a long track record of ignoring customer feedback until it slaps them upside the head.

I think I posted somewhere that they look good when the car is moving (saw mine at the car wash), so I just pretend I'm moving all the time. Kind of works:tongue:.

I'd only trade up if they release a type S, otherwise I'm satisfied with my TLX

Same here. I'd put a deposit right away if they will release a Type-S

Uh...I'm new here, but that medallion on the front makes Flavor Flav's clock look small. And the grill produces an optical illusion that I do not find pleasing. I personally like how the "beak" has evolved. I like this less than the first one.

They better not get rid of the Jewel eye headlights, that would be a disaster, that's your signature! And please Acura Get rid of those horrid 4 cylinder rims!

Plus the tires need a huge upgrade.

They also need to greatly improve throttle and steering response too.

Doesnt matter if it will be or not. Its still being used in an actual production car and it is hideous. Acura needs to get rid of it.

maybe they are going to a simpler setup like on the Accord with projector LED lamps.

unless the ZF is gone and a new infotainment system comes I will be moving on. I will wait and see what FMC brings in 2020 model.

Unless they sell SHSHAWD as Type S, i dont see how they will get increased power for Type S till FMC.

These rims have been on the 4 cylinder for years now. They ain't getting rid of them til the 2018 comes out. This is a test mule. To expect new rims on a test mule is silly.

Living in North Dakota sucks. Nearest Acura dealer is about 8 hrs away. If it wasn't for that I'd put a deposit down too.
