Hi, im looking to see if anyone knows of a device for the obd port that will allow to change settings and coding for the tlx. Ive got the 2018 standard and want to code some things to my liking. Ive been able to do it using a similar device on an audi q7 called obdeleven. Looking to see if there is something out there. Not just one that will give diagnostics.

By pressing the nav+back+menu buttons, you can enter the DEVELOPER settings and can have access to various menus of functions such as DISPLAY ADJUSTMENT, MONITOR CHECK, FAN CONTROL, VERSION DOWNLOAD, MEMORY WATCH, DISPLAY TEMPERATURE, BITMAP DISPLAY, NEURAL SETTING, SELF AGING MODE and SDK INFO.

The problem is that without an Acura scan tool you can’t really go too far with it. I don’t think the SAVE button will work with most functions even though you might be able to change some of the functions until the next restart such as AUDIO.

If you call Acura or your dealer about this function, they will tell you that you should not be playing with this combination of buttons or in these menus.

 

OBDeleven is an awesome tool to be able to interface with VW cars and perform detailed tweaks. Unfortunately, I haven't found anything even close that works on Honda (and fellow Asian) cars.

 

I use the CARLY app on my iPhone. I know they do other cars, take a look.

 

Unsure if any of these may meet your needs, but I did a search for "OBD app Acura" and a few popped:

• BlueDriver OBD2 Scan Tool (iTunes)
• OBD Fusion

If I spent more time looking I'm sure I could find more, but this at least gets you started.
