It's funny how the several reviews out there I have read (based on in person assessment I believe) are complementary to the grill. I think it's unique and offers a more positive branding image moving forward, something that the current grill struggled to do because of the unfortunate initial version on the 2009 TL. I particularly like the shape and the sunburst effect. I thought the Acura insignia was a bit large, but it looks fine in person on the MDX and likely will on this vehicle. No different than the Mercedes logo on some of their vehicles. I certainly think, IMHO, it's nicer than the Lexus grill and the Infiniti ones, but as someone once said, each to his own. I really do think you have to see it in person before making a final judgement either way.

BTW, there are two levels of bolstered seats according to the specs I read.
