2016 Acura TLX SSH-AWD - vibrating
Hi Everyone,
I'm new to the Acurazine forums and to Acura in general. I recently bought a 2016 Acura TLX V6 SH-AWD as my first car, and unfortunately, I’m really disappointed. I've been experiencing severe vibration issues at highway speeds, and after checking the forums, it seems like this is a common problem. The car vibrates like crazy at that speed. I have tried wheel balancing so far to no avail. I'm not very knowledgeable about cars, but I was wondering if there’s ever been a fix for this issue. I’d really appreciate any help. I’m heartbroken over this purchase.
Thanks,

. Its typically because of the VCM. If you switch to sport mode while driving on the highway, do you still experience the issue? There are things like S-VCM you can get to counteract the issue apparently, I've been thinking of getting it myself. Either that or engine mounts may be going bad...which is also the result of this damn VCM, but I'd look at those last since they are pricey and the VCM is most likely the culprit.

Typically due to VCM, do you experience the issue while driving in Sport mode on the highway? If not, probably the VCM and there are solutions to that like S-VCM and other VCM blockers. I'd rule this as the main culprit before digging into engine mounts and such.
