2015 Acura TLX - Electronic Parking Brake
Hi! Hope everyone is doing great!
Have a quick question for Acura experts, any feedback is highly appreciated
There is a button for the electronic park brake for hill parking and overall.
So I'm wondering if there is any way to make it so the parking brake activates itself when I press 'P' - Park and deactivates automatically when I go 'D' or 'R'?
Instead of pressing the parking brake manually every time. I know it is super minor movement but I have seen automatic Park Brake activation in Lexuses and that is why it got me wondering if my Acura can do the same.
Thank you,

If my memory serves me correctly, when you use the "Brake Hold" feature and put the car in Park, it automatically engages the parking brake. To disengage, fasten your seatbelt and put the car in gear. As soon as you start to accelerate the parking brake will release. The key is having your seat belt fastened.
