Looks like they put a random front and back end together and forgot to patch up the dividing line.

From Leftlanenews...

Audi has just unveiled the 2008 R8 — its first ever production supercar. Sales will begin in the first half of 2007 for the United States and Europe. The car has a 420 horsepower high-revving V8 engine and all-wheel-drive. It uses the mid-engine Lamborghini Gallardo platform, and will sell for around $100,000 — positioning it squarely against the BMW M6 and Aston Martin Vantage. It features LED headlamps surrounded by LED running lights and indicators. LEDs are also used in the engine bay to make the impressive V8 visible even at night. Claimed 0 to 62 mph time is 4.6 seconds, though this number is likely conservative.

I'd get one just cause it would be different... around here... AMG's, M's, 911's are a dime a dozen... no, it's NOT quite as fast 0-60 than some other cars in the price range... but I can just imagine pullin' up to some fancy restaurant's valet

Personally, if Audi just used either of their very purdy concepts from 1991, like the Spyder or the Avus, I'd be giddy as a skoolgirl.

Spyder:

Avus:

The way Audi's historically depreciate, you might surprise yourself.

Well that is unless of course you have other baggage.....like kids.

Then maybe not.

Overall though, I'm not really entirely impressed the more I look at it, looks weird from the side (proportions seem off).

Still love that interior though.

It's doable, I think you just have to train yourself to remember the buttons are there and stick your finger in to use them. No doubt you won't be able to see them while driving, though.
