TPMS problems with Asanti rims
I have 2010 Acura TL. i purchased asanti rims, went to dealer to get
them installed with new tpms's. Tech said that because of "angle" of
new stem that sensor would stick out inside tire and will break when
i hit bump. Contacted where I purchased rims, mentoned Asanti has
retrofit kit so that tpms lays flat on rim like stock rims. They have yet to get back with me.Anyone have similar problems????

Are they multipiece wheels? I think RJ wheels have a similar thing for his forged 3pc wheels. Something like this is probably what they are recommending.

Asanti Wheels
Hey Pete2010,
Thanks for the reply! I had slipped under the radar
for awhile on this site, I'm back. Did get wheels
installed @ Discount Tire with no problem. However
the sensors are sticking "up" inside tire. Did not get
banding over sensor to hold down on rim. It is a 3 piece rim. I get complments all the time on rims!!!
Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy!
