Tein SS coilovers and EDFC controller
Will be picking up my 2012 TL on Monday July 23 and can't wait to get it on coils. I would like to know if the Tein SS coilovers will fit with the EDFC motors in the engine bay and in trunk.
Does anyone here have that set up and do they like it?
Also I found a very nice DIY on this forum on how to ddo the install but noticed that for rear the seat needs to be removed? Is there a DIY how to remove the back seat?
Thanks in advance for any help.

There's the how-to. Just did this in my car last week.
FYI there is some conflicting information about removal of the back portion of the rear seat, which is a pain in the ass. Some instructions I've seen says that the seat needs to be pulled out while pushing up on it to remove it, others say to push in.
The reality of it is you don't have to do either. If you look at that thread, there's a PDF from Acura on removal of the rear seats. I believe that thread tells you to push in while pushing up. When you begin removing the rear seat back, don't worry about pushing in or pulling out - it's not necessary. Popping the seat up out of the clips is the hardest part, has to be done first, and ONLY requires upward force.
For me it was easiest to get the bottom part of the seat out of the car, stand where your but would go if you were to sit in it (driver and passenger side, one side at a time), reach under the seat, and pull up lifting with my legs. It took a LOT of force to pop the seat free... just make sure you're got your fingers under something with some metal behind it, and not just the leather material or you could rip it.
You'll know when the bar pops free. Get this done on both sides, and then lift the seat out on either side while pushing back - the diagram in the Acura PDF will show you why this is necessary. It's a good idea to have someone with you when you do this, because the seat back is somewhat akward to get out, and since it has metal clips on the bottom of it, you could easily scratch a door panel if you tried to do it by yourself.
