Tein SS
Tein SS
So I know tein has been a big goto for people with imports. And like "some" I feel my cars ride is too rough so after failed balancing, and the dealership saying nothing is wrong
I decided to get some new tires (currently on those stock Eagle or whatever they are) and the tein SS (i was already planning on that)
I read a couple places that the tein ss have solved peoples dissatisfaction with the TL's ride, me personally, it just feels like I'm riding on light gravel around 75mph+ So I think its a mixture of the tires being what they are and the stock ride. I assume I'm right?
My questions about tein ss is what are peoples experience with them on our car? I have a 12 awd advance. How does it compare to the stock ride? I assume that there is multiple ride comfort and height settings but I feel like that is a dumb question so I couldn't find an answer.
Lastly, whats the best place to buy tein ss? Some places have a $200+ price difference

I too think that the ride on my 2012 TL SH-AWD Advance rough. So I bought a set of Continental DWS 245/45/R19 (plus 0 size) to replace the OEM Eagle tires. But I have not mounted them on yet, so I cannot comment on how they ride.
I also considered go to the coilover route and some members here recommend TEIN Street Advance which is cheaper and it has more adjustable damper levels than the TEIN SS.
My plan is to replace the tires first to see how does the ride improve and I will buy the coilover if I am not satisfy with the ride on the new tires.
