Suggestions on 19" wheels

I'm currently thinking about going with the 19" diamond cut wheels from Acura, but I'm open to other ideas. Looking for suggestion for input from others.

Here are a few things to go along with the idea. I will not be lowering the car in any way at all. No black wheels either, my car is black so that is out. Gunmetal is an option as well as silver. Chrome is out as well.

I was leaning towards Niche Targas and even thinking about the new Vossen Forged wheels that just came out.

Altho I love the look of the diamond cut, you might want to take a look at the 2nd gen MDX 19's as they are 19x8.5 instead of the 19x8 on the diamond cut. It fits the TL pretty well from what I have seen and keeps a good OEM look without looking too aggressive in my opinion.

lol.. if you can afford vossen forged then pretty much any wheel on the market is an option.. personally i wouldnt drop 3.5k+ on wheels if you are not going to get the max out of them.. and by max i mean low offset, large width... go with niche/tsw/beyern wheels. cheap and will work well.

I don't want any issues with going to wide and causing any rubbing issues. With my luck I would bottom out with wide wheels and mess up the edge of the wheel or mess up the fender.

Thanks for the link, I don't think those are for me though. They look to much like stock wheels. If that makes sense.

Absolutely it makes sense. I think that is the reason why I like them.... perhaps I am getting too conservative in my old age.

what do you think of the tsw sochi or rivage? its undeniable that a five spoke wheel, in particular the vossens and niche, look great on the tl. however, quite a few people have them, if that matters to you, and more importantly imo these wheels will be fairly heavy.

with the sochi i wonder how the black barrels will look against the gray or black tl. with the rivage the lip may make the wheel look smaller (not sure on this myself) so you'd have to drop your car a lot to get the 19" look you want. not sure tho. be curious what others think of these wheels.

I haven't looked into those, but I will now. I was trying to do something different than the 5 spoke that I see a lot. Although it does look great on the TL.

how many wheel threads have you opened up!?

couldnt they all be addressed in one thread, since; you'll never likely to get anything that you say you will.

If you worried about yourself as much as you worry about me, you could accomplish a lot more in life. You follow me around like a lost puppy dog.

Just stick with the diamond cuts I'd say. If you can find em for a good price. It's oem, looks the best on black and they're 19's. Not too many people have them either.

I have two places that are selling them at the same price, I'm not to concerned with that. I did my homework on that before I let them pass. Thanks for the heads up though.

This wasn't for a core charge, but I'm actually working on something with Acura right now.
