Springs

Hello everyone,

I just installed my TSW 20" rims. Need advice on people who have installed springs on their Acura TL 4G or looking to install. I definitely want the drop on my car, about an inch. What springs would you recommend for this application? I want H&R's but I'm hearing that it is only for the all wheel drive model which I don't have. I also don't want to lose too much of the luxury drive. I think I'm stuck with Eibach's pro kit or Tein's. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have had both Eibach and B&G springs, I now have Tein Coilovers. I agree with Capo, I would save up for coilovers, but if I was choosing between the Eibach and B&G I would pick Eibach.

Thanks Capo and Buckvegas! So basically, to go all out, I should just go with the Tein coilovers to get the best ride with a drop over just the Eibach springs or Eibach coilovers? I just don't want the ride to be too bouncy either. thx.

I agree with them. Go all out and get the Tein coilovers with EDFC. That's what I did and I couldn't be happier. Handles great and rides even better.

Yes Save up for the Tein Coilovers....Of course when the 4G came out there was very limited suspension mods. Eibach and H&R springs were the only choices. But make sure you get a camber kit or alignment kit to save your tires.

Get the TEIN coilovers . It will get rid of the big wheel gap and give you the ability to adjust the ride height to your liking. You can contact excelerate for pricing and purchase.

Yes, they are the best aftermarket product for the 4GTL.

Are you getting paid for the XLR8 plug?

No payments at all Mr. Marco . XLR8 has been giving discounts and promoting TEIN products and IMHO was actually the one who pushed for getting coilovers for the SH-AWD. Wanted to lead poster in the right direction.... So XLR8 owes me for the plug. lol.
