The Proper way to install your Center caps
From the factory, your car's center cap(emblem on the rim) is installed a certain way. When you bring your car into service for tire rotations(tire balance) the center caps are removed in order to balance the tires. Most technicians do not pay attention to detail like i do( i have ocd). so heres what they shouldn't and should look like =) . The emblem on the center cap should have its base face towards the valve stem. with vehicles that have wheel locks, the wheel lock should be installed directly across from the valve stem, or the wheel stud which lines up directly with the valve stem.

Looks cleaner .... On the hybrids with the bigger center caps, Honda even puts directions on how to install them.... Idk to me it looks so much cleaner

I just go by the factory way, bottom of A/H towards valve stem, and wheel lock on matching side lol, I'm hoping to get everyone to realize how sloppy it looks when it's crooked, just to make the world a better place
