Need Fitment advice

I just bought my first Acura about 3 months ago and I'm looking to add some wheels soon. I have a 2010 Acura tl base with tech package.

I'm trying to see if these wheels sizes will fit. I also plan on lowering the car with H&R Springs.

Front 19x8.5 35 mm offset

Rear 19x9.5 33mm offset
  • Will these fit?
  • Will these rub once I go lower?
  • Will they poke out from the fender or will it be flush?
  • Any advice on tire fitment?
Ideally I'd like for the wheels to be pretty flush and I don’t want a lot of wheel gap.

I have been searching for days and I am pretty positive these will fit but just need someone who has some experience to confirm and help answer some questions.

I'm pretty clueless when it comes to the wheel department so any help is greatly appreciated.

  • Will these fit? yes
  • Will these rub once I go lower? probably, if you go with 245/35/19 depending on how much you are lowered, you might need to roll fenders.
  • Will they poke out from the fender or will it be flush? your fronts will not be flushed with fender, same for the rears. but for sure they wont poke out. wheels are not aggressive enough for it to poke out
  • Any advice on tire fitment? 245/35/19 all around

are you lowered on springs or full coils?

Thanks for the quick response! I was literally just looking at your progress thread. Your TL looks really good even with just the stock wheels.

I havnt lowerd yet but was just going to go the cheaper route and do the H&R Springs. I have seen some pictures of TL's on the H&R's and they look pretty good. I like the idea of being able to adjust the damper and lower and raise the car but I feel like I'd be happy with the H&R's. Do you think the Drop is going to be decent on 19's with the springs?

So I guess if I wanted to go flush then I would just add some spacers.

I appreciate the help!

my advice.

put the wheels on, lower the car first, see how you like it and adjust with spacers.

there are several people on this forum that have went with H&R then eventually they went to full coils because they needed the adjust ability.

if you are going to consistently mod your car.. id suggest full coils to begin with.
