MDX 20" on TL
? ?
Picked up a set of 20" MDX wheels for cheap, like new condition, 8JX20", I plan to go with 245/35/R20 which should fit the specs. But I am not very sure about how they look on the TL. I found a random picture online, and PS'ed the wheels on it. Would love to hear your thoughts.

I think those would look pretty good, especially with the white paint.

The inconvenient truth
No Photoshop needed

Theres two examples in that thread here's one
I think it needs more low with these wheels as it looks like an SUV stance. But I would need more angles to really judge. Otherwise I think they could look good. They are a cool design that I do like.

The car would definitely need a slight suspension drop in order to make them look good, for sure.

I finally had the TLX type s wheels on the TL. They look really good, but I can definitely feel the extra weight, and honestly it feels so awful to drive.
The type S wheels weighs about 39.5 lbs, while the stock 17" is only at 22.4 lbs. The weight difference on tires is only under 1 lbs. We're looking at 16+ lbs per corner . . .

Man that is an enormous difference. Got an actual pic of them on the car?

Yeah, I can clearly feel the difference . . . didn't expect such a huge weight difference.
Here are a couple of shots I took the other day. Have to say they looked really nice.

Against the background of such large disks, the brakes look very small, you have to do something about it.

Thank you for the suggestion, totally agreed. I don't plan to spend more money on it, I am just keeping this car for my college kid to drive when she is home on breaks and she doesn't really care about the size of brakes. My wife and I have other vehicles to drive.
