Just bought my first Acura. A TL 2009 in black and I have some wheel questions
So I just joined this community because I just bought my first Acura and I love it! Only thing is, is that it has stock rims. I would really like the black-on-black look with a lower-profile wheel but I have no idea where to start. What is a good rim/tire size combo that will give it a slick look? The rims are 17' currently and I dont know if I should go bigger with a smaller tire or just get the same size rim. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Also, this is my first vehicle I have ever bought on my own so I am a tad ignorant in brands and such. What are some good rim brands? Thanks again!

Welcome to acurazine, congrats on the new car. What are you looking for In rims style? Are you panning to lower the car? Do u want your rims to sit flush with the fenders? Do you want 5 spoke or multiple spokes? Tell us what you like. And we can recommend something because there areots of Tl on this site with rims.

Thank you!and thanks for the response. Honestly, I think I would prefer a wheel that is flush with the fenders and more than a 5 spoke (but I am really open to anything). I saw one set of multiple-spoke wheels that were black with a few gunmetal-esque spokes thrown in and it looked sharp, so I'm leaning towards a black or gunmetal color. I dont plan on lowering it as of yet. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Maybe something similar to this with a black finish on the outer spokes and gunmetal inner spokes? This is kind of the idea I am going for but I am more than willing to receive suggestions/opinions!

I would start here:
Pics of aftermarket rims on 4G TL
That will give you an idea of what style/size you like and don't like.
I also recommend utilizing www.wheelsnext.com as they have a large number of rims to choose from and you can filter better than any site I've found. I'M NOT RECOMMENDING YOU BUY FROM THEM, just use their site to find what you like. They also have a visualizer so you can upload a pic of your car and see different wheels on it.

Tire Rack go to www.tirerack.com put in your make/model/year and then select the color of your car, put on rims to your hearts content.
Print out the big pictures to see them side by side
at least it will give you a few ideas
