Getting rid of my Tein SS with EDFC
Hello all:
Its a sad day here, but I think I am going to back to my stock suspension in my 2012 SH-AWD TL. I have Tein SuperStreets with the EDFC. I love these coilovers and the ability to adjust both ride height and firmness. The car looks so good lowered and the Teins handle great. This is the only car I've ever had where I can just reach into the glove box, hit one of my preset buttons on the EDFC, and change handling firmness on the fly.
So why am I going back to the Acura suspension? I have a really steep driveway, and even after raising the car, it sits about an inch lower with the Teins than it did on the stock suspension, and unfortunately that is just enough that the car bottoms out as I go from driveway to street, especially if I have passengers with me, which I often do.
It sucks, but the alternative is parking on the street, and I am not parking a $45,000+ car on the street.

After the shop does the swap, I will see what, if anything, they were unable to salvage, then decide. They told me that they won't know for sure until they get in there. The guy wasn't sure if he would have to cut any wiring harnesses, but said he would do his best to take care of everything. I will probably sell the whole thing, rather than part out, but not really sure. Depends on interest.
Also I don't know if any site rules confine the sales discussion to offline or Off Topic (in the parts for sale area.) I'm a bit of an Acurazine noobie, though I don't know why as I have owned Acuras off and on since 1990. (1989 Legend, 2005 TL, 2012 TL)
