Yes, camber is a tire eater...
But with the proper tow setting, and without the camber being TOO crazy (-3 or less) you can eliminate a lot of premature/uneven tire wear.

I ate through one set of tires with my integra before bringing it up in my college auto tech class. The teacher did an alignment on my car explained to us how a tire wears and the sweeping effect of the wear. Camber alone will increase irregular wear but adjusting the toe correctly to counter that will make a cambered wheel wear evenly... keeping in mind that the camber setting isnt anything too aggressive like -4 or more.

That's not camber wear. That's bad TOE.

I'm running -4.25 camber...no uneven wear. Toe is what kills tires.

I think its a just a bad combo of balance and toe exaggerated by camber. Freaking lame though, shit went flat basically while I was driving. I had a tire shop do my alignment a few months back. I should go back and cut someone.

You need this:

It will adjust your camber and toe in the rear. Order a qty of 2 to complete the rear of a car.

Pull the alignment sheet what was the toe on the rears? I know they couldn't set it but what was it? and to fix the toe you'll need the 3 bar camber kit...

I'm using these. Running about -3/-3.5 (dont remember) camber on my rears.
No sign of uneven wear

lol you actually bought the jpowers..

ive thought about it.. but heard from a few friends that had it on their accords and tsx's.. they see wear on the bushings after about a year..

they did tell me it seems to be exactly like spc.. but only the bushing is different... more prone to wear.

Im running that one also.

The 3 bar kit is much easier to install, however.

Sorry to hear that man; a flat while rolling is every lowered, low profile, body kitted 4G owner's nightmare.

I take my car to a place that only does Alignments and Suspension work. They have a flat rack you simply pull in to; no incline. $120...but worth it.

I wish I also live in Southern Cali.

I just have my winter tires put on yesterday, but then you can put on big wheels and tires during the fall/winter time.

That's not just toe that looks like a combination of both toe and excessive camber. That tire looks like it's also on far too wide of a wheel. You guys running these stupid tire/wheel setups should look into the tires that are built for excessive camber like the Nitto Neogens.

nitto gens are limited in size.. even on a 20.. you can only go either 235/30 or 245/30... next one up is a 305/25..

You guys have a front camber kit (balljoints) for the 2012 SH-AWD? I installed this kit on on my Tein SS and lowered it all the way. After alignment I still have a bit too much front neg camber which can't be adjusted as stock. Alignment shop recommended a front camber kit (basically the camber adjustable ball joints like I have on the rears).

What were the specs on your rims and tires?

Vossen 20 x 9 CV2 on 245/35ZR20 Toyo tires. Just got it aligned and the shop told me that the front specs were ok as is. Something like the negative camber is offset by the caster so the tires will be ok, I shouldn't see any abnormal wear. Suggested a front camber kit (adjustable ball joints) only if the camber bothered me aesthetically.
