Do 2015 RLX wheels fit on 2010 TL

Hi, I am hoping to get some help on whether the 2015 RLX wheels fit on my 2010 TL.

I need to replace the tires on my 2010 TL soon, and even the cheapest tires cost $400, plus installation, and total easily goes to $500. Not to mention the cost to potentially replace the original TPMS sensors.
I came across some 2015 RLX wheels in excellent condition with almost new tires, but the seller is 3 hours aways so I want to make sure to they fit before I travel.

2010 TL wheels/tires (OEM part number 42700TK4A01)
  • Size: 8Jx17
  • Bolt pattern: 5x120mm
  • Offset: 55mm
  • Center bore: 64.1mm
  • Tire: 245/50R17
2015 RLX wheels/tires (OE part number 42800TY2A80)
  • Size: 8Jx18
  • Bolt pattern: 5x120mm
  • Offset: 50mm
  • Center bore: 64.1mm
  • Tire: 245/45R18
The 2015 RLX 18" wheels are very close to the optional 2010 TL 18" wheels, the main difference is the offset is off by 5mm, which I don't feel should be a big deal, according to this website and this website (Ideally, the offset of the new wheels must not be more than 5 millimeters away in either direction of the old measurement.)
I also verified that the TPMS sensors (OE part number 42753TY2A51) on the 2015 RLX should work on my 2010 TL too, according to this website.

Thank you for your help in advance. Let me know if I missed anything.

The 5mm reduction in offset won't matter.

Looks like you found a match for your car.

Cool, but those aren't the wheels he's asking about. Thanks though.

Thanks guys. Looks like I am not getting them - when I asked for closeup pictures of the wheels/tires, the seller showed me three different types of tires, yet in the Ad they were all matched. If you're in mid-Atlantic, don't waste your time with this guy. He's selling 2015 RLX wheels/tires claiming the tires being brand new.

Thanks! I wasn't sure how the steering wheel will feel, but I figured I could just get some 5mm backspacers in the worst case scenario.

You probably won't notice a 5mm difference in scrub radius. It might have a more "on center" feel, but...99.9999% of any difference you feel can be attributed to the tires.

I would hold off on getting used rims especially being 3 hours away unless you can get confirmation that they are straight. I had bought some used rims from Kijiji (17" OEM Used Acura TL Rim) and they are completely crooked. It was cheap and the the only thing I could keep was the center caps. You can buy some non OEM rim and your would be better off. Envy Wheels seem to have the same logo as the ones from the OEM rim. (Looks like a mushroom)

You can find rims to have the same centre bore as well.
