Curb Rash on A-Spec Rims

I can't believe I did it. Was in a tight narrow street, semi truck needed to come through so I pulled in as close to the curb as I could... but a little too close.... anyways I fucked up and now have a tiny bit of curb rash on my front right 19" A-Spec rims.

I've got the sandpaper to fix the surface... but have no idea what touch up paint I need to match the rims. Does anyone know what exact paint and/or where to buy the touch up paint from?

Most bigger dealerships have a rim repair truck come through every so often to repair rashed rims. I know one near where I live that does this. I guess they sand/fill in the damag and paint the damaged area to match. I've seen rims that had this done and i couldnt even tell. The cost is anywhere from $50-$100 depending on how bad it is. I'd ask a few dealers if they have someone that does this. Good luck!

We've all done it, don't feel bad. I'd say contact your dealer and ask them about this, hopefulyl since the car is new they'll cut a little slack on you about having it repaired

I ended up trying to fix it myself with Bondo and some Dupli-Color High Performance Wheel paint. Let's just say the color match wasn't the greatest. I took all of it off, and am going to take it over to the local wheel specialist for around $60 to get it professionally done.

Thanks guys - for getting me through a rough time in my life..

I got a nasty gouge on mine and the dealer had the rim guy repair it for me at no cost...amazing results.

No cost?! Holy crap. I might go ask my dealer if they have a deal with someone local.

The weather is still shitty in Calgary - so I'm probably going to get it done sometime next week. Does anyone know how long the wait time is for the repair generally?

You are luck they are not painted like the HPT's. No one in our house will claim the damage (Only 2 are old enough to drive), but I actually had to rubber cement a flap of rubber back onto the tire. Shit happens.
