Acura Rims for Snow Tires?

Anyone know where I can find some affordable Acura rims that I can mount snow tires to? I'd like to buy some Acura OEM 17" or 18". Buying through my dealer is crazy expensive.

Looked in BM nothing here on AZ right now. Are you afraid of the AM look that a snow wheel has? Some of them aren't too bad...

I have always ordered snow tires and wheels from TireRack for all my vehicles. Very satified and much better than the stock wheels and less expensive.

+1 - Tirerack is a great place for a set of winter tires and rims. They'll balance/mount them and ship them to you - mount and go!

Yeah, the more I research this, the more I'm leaning towards tire rack package. Thinking of the Michelin Pilot Alpin PA3. Leaning towards 17" rims. I'm narrowing my choice down to either of these. Thoughts?

I like the SE-14's. They kinda remind me of the Gen 1 TSX stocks

This might seem like an obvious question but I haven't wondered about it until now. During summer, I am using 245 width tires and during winter, I'll switch to 225, on 2 different set of wheels though but both sets are the same diameter.

But technically, does this mean that on a 17" or 18" or any size wheel for that matter, I can put on either 225, 245 or 250 tires on that very same wheel? The tire will just stretch accordingly to the obviously fixed width of the wheel? I'm assuming there's a limit to how wide or thin you can go?

Also, how does Tire Rack balance the tires without your car? Or do they just do it on a generic rig and it'll universally work on any vehicle you can mount the wheels on?

The answer is NO.

Every tire manufacturers will specify a range of wheel sizes on which each particular model of their tires can be mounted on and driven safely.

Always stick to tire manufacturers' recommendations, don't over-stretch or under-stretch tires.
