20x8.5 +30 all around
Figured I'd ask since I couldn't find anyone with a setup like this...
Was trying to somewhat go conservative. Anyone running this setup? I'm planning on doing so with H&R springs and not roll my fenders... Anyone on this forum running Avant Garde wheels as well? Haven't seen anyone yet.
Was also planning on running 245/35/20

Andrew,i have 19 x 8.5 x 35 mm, no rubbing issues with unrolled fenders. The difference between your choice and mine is .196 /2 = .098 or approx 3/32. I think that you may just squeak by or you may just need minimal roll.
With the H&R,it was really close with my rim size. "Jackie Tl" is running AG rims.

So basically with winter salt in canada. Anything seizes up easily. My sway bar links are already seized up.
With coilovers what happens is they need to be completely lubbed and greased up before the winter and then sprayed down every few weeks to remove the salt build up, then come summer. Completely remove all the lube and grease and reapply it in the fall and do the same thing. It's a process in which I really would rather not do as it's more of a headache for a car that I just want to drive and not worry about like that.
From my understanding. People who run H&R love the setup so I see no reason in coils when I like the height and I have to winter drive my vehicle.
With my tsx. I had Tein SS on them and they eventually seized up even with greasing them. After about 100,000km they blew.

Last year was one of the harshest winters to date for us in the northeast. I'm at 14K miles so far with no issues (knock on wood) but only time will tell how long they will last. If I can get 80K miles on them, I will be satisified. I'm not gonna lie though, there were a couple of occassions I heard some clunking doing a turn. This seems to happen in the morning when it's just been sitting there overnight. Also hear some squeaks on occassion. When it's summer and nice out, no noise. When I installed the wheels, I had a chance to take them and visually it checked out fine.

in terms of the clunking/squeaking, are you saying that it only happened during the winter? or is it an ongoing thing?

Yes, lifted. Only in the winters, the clunking happens in the mornings particularly. But I can count only 2-3 times I have heard it. Like I said, it's because its been sitting there overnight and needs time to warm up. Once the tubes warm up, no clunking. The squeaking comes and goes and that too seems to occur only in the cold.

No problem ahaha.
The reason I'm going springs over coils is because 1. I will for sure want to slam my car, and due to my last vehicle. I'm not about that life. and 2. I'm picking up the springs from KarKraze and it's a deal I can't say no to.
I'm guessing 20x8.5 +30 should fit? Maybe minor roll? It's either that or 20x10 +38 and that seems really aggressive for a car that's not slammed. Those are the only two sizes for 5x120 and 20" for the wheels I want.

AG has a bespoke program that allows for a custom offset and finish on their M510 and M590... I actually have AG M510 on order, 20x8.5 + 40 offset... Went conservative so I can avoid rolling my fenders. Should be here this week. I currently have H&R sports too. Will post pictures when they are on.

I looked into the BESPOKE program but it's not really worth it for me. I'd still want the silver look and it's either 20x10 +15 to +40 or 20x8.5 +15 to +40. I was hoping to find a 9 inch width setup.

Oh really? I thought it came standard with the brushed silver. Or is the satin silver the standard colour for the bespoke wheels? Looks nice tho. Can't wait to get them as well. Probably going to hold off till next year tho.

The bespoke has more color options. There are three levels and you can get some crazy color options. I got mine through Discount Tire... They are really good to work with and gave me a pretty good deal.
