20" wheels/tires for '12AWD, but will stock wheels work on 2002 TL-S?
I am interested in putting 20's on my White 2012 SH-AWD Advance and have read through most of the threads. Then what to do with the stock 19" wheels/tires? I also have a 2002 TL Type S and wonder if the stock '12 SH-AWD 19" wheels would work on the '02? The offsets seem quite different.
Find the lo-profile tires on the AWD ride rough, lose air constantly (known issue in the forum) and 20" can ride rougher (potmilkz), but not necessarily if different tires used (FYAH TL).
Car is white so no blacked out wheels (although 2002 is black). Before that I owned a Japanese built Vigor (white) with the inline 5. Yes it was a black one prior to that (CRX-Si).
Chrome forged wheels seem best to me. I like the look of the ZDX chrome wheels (20") but dealer has no interest in assisting here????. Also interested in RonJon Advance II with Continental Extreme Contact DW's mentioned in a post earlier this year.
Not lowering car, and not rolling/cutting fenders...getting too old for that!
Thoughts?

"12 TL oem wheels will not fit older TL. Current TL use 5x120 bolt pattern while older TL are using 5x114 bolt pattern.
Hard to assist you on wheels since everyone have their own taste. I suggest you look at the picture threads on here and see the different style of wheels members are using.

You're wasting your time putting winters on the 19s as the idea behind snow tires is to put the skinniest, tallest tires possible to give traction in deep snow. Example: 215/60-17 > 245/45-18. I would sell them if I were you. Some over-the-top enthusiast on here or elsewhere may want the rims to put gummy summers on for track days.

Unless your area is pounded by heavy snowfall all winter long, otherwise going to skinnier tires will lose a LOT of performance (such as braking distance, cornering, etc.) when the roads are clear and dry.
