18's on an A-Spec????

hey all...great forum, lots of info!

I have a 2014 TL A Spec that I bought this spring, my third TL and I love it.

Looking to put some winter tires on for our wonderful Alberta winters and I'm curious if any of you know of any limitations to putting 18" wheels on it? I've heard some rumblings about the A Spec having different brake calipers or something so 18's arent' advisable....

any thoughts?

all 4G TL's have the same brake calipers.

the diameter is fine, 18 inches, but you'll want to match up the width and offset as close as stock as possible.
Never go less aggressive than stock.

so, basically...the limitations you thought were there, arent there.

You can even go with 17" wheels on it if you want. You might have luck finding some factory 17" wheels to run on it for winter wheels, that's what I use, I plasti-dipped mine matte black to protect them from the salt.
