Weird noise when turning left

I drive a 2010 Acura Tl (SH-AWD) I noticed that when I am going around 40 mph and slow down to turn left, once turn the steering wheel and accelerating the left side of the car makes a kind of shaking grinding noise. Its a little difficult to make it happen over and over but it is happening and I am not sure at all what the problem could be. The sound reminds me of my dad trust, its manual and when shifting gears the noise right before the gears shift is what it sounds like. Im guessing it may have something to do with my transmission? Any and all help is appreciated, thanks guys!
