Update on XM radio issues

Since I cannot seem to find where my last thread went which would be a shame if it got deleted since it had good content in it. I though I would update everyone, to get everyone up to speed who do not know I have been having trouble with my XM receoption it would stop even if there was no obstructions and constantly recieving loading signals. Anways went to the dealer today and apparently Acura is aware of the problem, however I was told I have to wait in order for Acura and XM to resolve the problem and I will recieve a new reciever once thbis takes place, which I am not pleased about because once they start taking things apart I will have rattles. Initally I said I would do without XM if this was found to be the case, but I think it is effecting other functions of the car such as the ability to schedule appointments and recieve XM weather on a consistant bases.
Just thought I would update everyone, then again I may be the only unlikely person thus far on Acurazine, I owned my 3rd generatsion for 4.5 years and never had a problem knock on wood this will be my last with this car.

Thanks for the update. I was curious to know where teh problem was, Acura or XM. I wouldn't worry too much about the rattle. Keep bring it back if it does but at least your XM is resolved.

Your original thread was posted in the Audio, Bluetooth, etc. subforum and not this one, which is why you can't find it here.

Thank you, I do not do much browsing on the site (like to get right to the info), I did a search and nothing came up so I figured the worse. Acura contacted me today and I am scheduled to have the XM receiver replaced on Saturday, which also explained why I lost the ability to schedule appointments from the car.

I just bought a 2010 Acura RDX. The XM weather has a lot of trouble populating especially the forcast. I was told it is the satalite signal in my area. Does anyone have a better explanation?
