I was changing the trunk light and when I was pushing everything back into the hole, the light was flickering a bit then it turned off. I tried switching bulbs and reversing the polarity and no light came on. I checked the fuses and they don't seem to be blown and the MID shows that the trunk is open so I don't think there's any issue with the trunk thinking that it is closed. Can anybody help me with this?

 

you may have shorted the circuit. LED or incandescent light?

 

I installed LEDs. Could it be the housing itself?

I installed these ones and I had no issue. I think it's a fuse issue.

 

I checked the fuses and they don't seem to be blown. I even switched it out with the spare one that came with the car and light still doesn't work.
