Squeaky belt or pulley or?

I just noticed today, got out of the car while it was running. On the passenger side I hear a belt noise or pulley, it's not severe like when you hear an old car. But more of a noisey sound. I have not heard this until today, it sounds bad for a new car. Anyone else ever had this sound or anything make a noise? If I put my ear in the passenger front fender well its like behind that? Any suggestions or a fix? Thanks so much!!

Guess I'm alone on this one again, no need for further updates, same goes for the seat, finally fixed that issue. Now on to the other.

I literally just got off the phone with my dealership who has been working on my car for the last two days... and they again (2nd time) said it was a normal sound and nothing was wrong.

Thanks for the response. I had to go pick mine up, said mine was operating normal. They checked couple more same model and make, same sound. So who knows, I just quit listening.

I made a thread about this about a year ago (for my 09), there was a bulletin for the dealerships to install a shim kit to stop the noise.

https://acurazine.com/forums/4g-tl-problems-fixes-297/weird-squeaking-noise-763512/

the link to the bulletin in my thread is broken, hes a link (its for the MDX, but its the same problem) http://www.mdxers.org/forums/attachm...lp-b08-031.pdf

Heres link to what my 09 sounded like as well

Is this the same sound?

I have the same noise. Any chance of reposting the Service Bulletin for the TL? I'd like to reference it when I bring my car in

THX

Thanks, sounds kinda like mine, hard to say, I don't hear mine until I get out. One day I got out while it was running, thats when I heard it. They can't fix mine, and I can tell the only way I will get this fixed is to have an actual tsb for the TL. If I say its the same as MDX, that will not work. Thanks for the help.

I couldn't find one for the TL, I just bitched at my dealer (had to take it in twice for them to 'reproduce' ) and showed them the MDX TSB, and they accepted it. Apparently some 3G TL members had the same problem too because the MDX TSB specifically states TL in addition, but only 3G is listed.

But after Acura installed the little kit, all was good for my car.

(theres an embedded video file in that pdf as well that shows the sound....maybe the dealer can listen to it and notice that its the same)

Thanks, I went ahead and called Acura customer relations and told them about mine and got a case number. She was very nice, and said she had heard of that. The tsb was the exact one you had on here for the MDX and TL up to 2008 only. But the video at the buttom is very similar to mine, and she said its probably the same thing. Said call the dealer and give them the tsb number, or, said they can key in timing and it pops up. I did tell her they will say, thats not even for your car! She then said if that does not work, then call back. So we'll see what happens.
