Specs on AT in 2012-2014 Advanced SH-AWD

I Just got a new transmission and wanted to know If a product called "Lucas Brand Automatic Transmission Fluid Conditioner" is compatible with the vehicle?\
Ive called the company and they say yes, based on the type of fluid. but on the bottle it says " Not for use in vehicles equipped with CVT transmissions. Does this car have a CVT transmission?

dont put it into your transmission, regardless of CVT or automatic....
it's nothing but snake oil...

and plus, since you tranny is new...you'll want to keep it new, by maintaining it to ACURA standards...which is to use their fluid at a regular interval...

The transmission STILL after 2 replacements seem to not be smooth. I dont know what else to do.
I mean I could keep going back and forth with acura, what more can I do? Theyve replaced it twice.
Ive talked to a few others and they say this stuff is PERFECT for PReventive maintenance and doesnt void warranty, is light enough for use in the car and
literally works. Im so tempted to try.

At any rate do you know if its CVT ?

you're safe to use it, as the 4G TL doesn't use a CVT.

interested in your thoughts after you give it a go

It drives me nuts that this is happening. two years Ive been trying to get this car drive like it was built to.
Ive had the tranny replaced TWICE along with two torque converters. The drive shaft failed...had that replaced.
From Software updates to full replacements, i only get glimpses of how butter smooth and powerful tihs car is.
when it does behave the throtttle is instant and the gear transitions are like...non existent. You dont even know its shifting.
I drive a lot, I idle a lot. And the car only goes to shit after long periods of driving. On a cold start, its heaven.

I'm sorry you've had those problems. You're definitely not the first. Either I've gotten lucky or I have a different expectation of how the car's supposed to function.

I put a 1:1:2 combo of Redline Racing, Lightweight Racing and DW-1 in my AT and I love it. You won't get buttery smooth gear transitions though. It shifts harder since the racing ATF reduces the amount of friction modifiers, allowing the clutches to engage quicker. However, my AT functions like a boss. Of course, I like it rougher (LoL ) since I've owned MT's my whole life.

The shifts are BUTTER SMOOOTH. you cant even tell its shifting!
The lowe end torque is restored. its purrrrs like a lion.

BUT.....I didnt use the transmission additive, I used the Deep Clean Fuel System Cleaner and the Upper Cylinder Lube.

The Lucas Complete Fuel Treatment and upper blah blah, does a good job cleaning up the intake and pistons. I have used on many small and car engines in higher conc and pulled it apart and seen very good results. I use it on all the cars and the neighbor's know I have jug and small container, they borrow it and someone always puts couple bucks in the jar for payment..
