Should I keep the auto-headlight enable?

Should I keep the auto-headlight enable?
I was told that this will burn out the headlights since they turn on and off so frequently. What are your thoughts?

um.. they only turn on when its dark or when the car is a dark area..

dont worry, it wont burn out..

For those who park their cars inside apartment garages, enabling the auto-headlight function will unnecessarily turn on the HID headlights every time they leave home and come back home.

I prefer to turn it off when I warm up early in the morning....it keeps the car discreetly running to avoid carjacking
