Replace Battery on 2012 Acura TL Advance

So I’m running into a problem that started this morning. After I started my car and was already driving for about 2 minutes, the replace battery error message came on. The battery was just replaced in February, there is no loose wires and no corrosion. Has anyone had this problem before?

That message is to replace the battery in the fob. I don't think there is any message to replace the 12v battery.

it'll probably say something along the lines of "check charging system" but not specifically around the battery to your point

You're both correct, as I've encountered both scenarios.

In my experience, the fob battery has sufficient charge despite the error message. My voltage meter confirms there is enought current to run the fob. It is my belief the springs/contacts holding the battery in place begin to lose their tension over time leading to intermitant shorts which trigger the warning message. As a workaround, I have taken a plastic bread loaf clip, cut off the "ears", stacked them, and put them over the battery. When I put the fob case back together, the clip pieces take up the space between the battery and the other half of the case putting sufficient pressure on the battery to keep in contact with its positive and negative terminals. I prefer two pieces of the bread loaf clip, otherwise extra space exists between the battery and the second half of the fob case for a single clip to slide off leading to a possible short and another message. I am sure other items could be used in place of the plastic clip but I don't like to over-think a project because there is always another one requring my attention after the key fob. Hope this helps.
