1. The rattle (maybe not rattle) coming from under the glove box (not the glove box itself) really bothers me. It is like a tiny piece of plastic jumping around inside that area when I drive on those unevenly paved bridges on freeways. I cannot even hear the it while driving over potholes.

2. It seems to me the spare tire and trunk floor covering the spare tire don't always stick to their places. A big "bang" comes out after my TL runs over big potholes.

Are these normal?

 

1. Check the cover under the glove box and make sure it is clip it right.

2. Check to see if the spare tire is tight down good.

Rattles are best determined with sethoscope and eliminated with tightning and or isolation padding.

 

did op ever solve the rattle issue? i'm having rattles from passenger side and the rear speakers rattles while speakers arn't in use
