Radio screen scuffed

Hi,

Anyone ever have a scuffed radio screen on your TL's? Mine is the base, no nav...and after cleaning the plastic screen above the radio, I now have lovely scuff / minor scratch marks all over the place. And....I've used the same microfiber towel that I've been using for two years now. once in a while i cheat at use the paper towel, which is more likely the issue.

If there is no remedy to remove the scuffs, I will probably replace it.
How do we remove the dash panels in these cars?

Many thanks!!

Try the Novus repair kit:
NOVUS 7136 Plastic Polish Kit - 2 oz. : Amazon.com : Automotive NOVUS 7136 Plastic Polish Kit - 2 oz. : Amazon.com : Automotive

Shortly after I purchased my TL last year, I noticed a few scratches on the screen cover. I was going to take it back to the dealer, but didnt feel like working with them and decided to see if I could fix it myself. The scratches could be felt with my finger nail and seen under certain lighting conditions. This kit was able to clean it up and they arent noticeable at all anymore.

damn, i would just leave it alone.. to take just that screen off, you have to go through several layers of things before you can get to it.. center console, radio unit, shift knob, then you can enter the radio screen..

Agree.

Try not to take apart the dash unless absolutely necessary. Often, the dash will end up as a rattle box afterwards.

Thanks for the input. I called Acura, a new plexiglass piece is $55. Im just going that route, i really messed mine up. The polish didn't work out too well...But thanks for the help on that one!

How do we go about removing the center console? I have seen videos on the 3rd Gen models, I can't imagine that Honda would have designed our 4th gen too different.

We have a foot of snow headed my way, i'll have plenty of time to tinker with this one. lol
Thanks again!

My mistake...I should clarify....

I use the same brand of towel now for the past two years. I agree, they would collect dust.

Cheers!
