I've been getting my hands dirty in the past few months by building engines with my coach at a local shop. It has been mostly ford small blocks and some small imports like the b16 honda engines. I will be working on my own 3.2 tl short block soon and just need some info on the engine.

Firstly what type of vtec is emplyed by the j32a1? Is it the same vtec-e found on older v6 accords? Is timing varied at a fixed rpm or only lift? Any body knows the specs on the camshafts including lift and duration?

 

A lot of discussions about camshafts and duration, lift, etc on v6p.net. In the 7G Accord forums. A fellow called Paul, aka NVA-AV6 is an expert in all that. Try searching there or PM him.
