Has anyone noticed that when you have the heat on, the passenger side center console plastic cover heats up? If you slip your hand between the passenger seat and center console, its really hot! I noticed that area would be cold when the AC was on in the summers too but didnt think much of it.

Please let me know if any of you have noticed the same. Would hate to make a trip to the dealer unless warranted.

Doesn't the duct work for the rear seats run thru the center console?

 

i think it does. Mine gets hot too. I usually tuck my hand in there when it's cold.

 

Seems like air doesn't move through the console when the mode is footwell, My car only sends air to the back vents if the mode is vent or vent/footwell. Generally if I have the heat on it's going to the footwells, so I never have a warm console.
