Passenger Seat rattle

Think i remember a similar post about a rattle coming from beneath the passenger seat in 2010 sh-awd. sounds like something loose, but difficult to pinpoint. I've heard it both when the seat is vacant and when someone is sitting in it.

Don't know if its the same sound. I posted couple weeks ago that my passenger seat ticks or everything on the road. I can tap my headrest and make the seat slightly shake, and I hear the tick tick sound. Mine is coming from the passenger seat side towards door. I seen a post on the 3rd generation TL about a tick, but our seats underneath seem to be made different. I unbolted the two front bolts and the sound seems to go away. If you tap your headrest, do you hear the sound? Wondering if its the same??

I posted this on my post as well. But do you see this under our seats? Seems to be made a little different??

Can't reproduce the noise by shaking seat from the headrest. Rattle seems to go away in cold weather

I know this is an old thread, but I have noticed as well that the passenger seat seems insufficiently bolted down because it transfers way more movement to the passenger than it does to the driver. Mine doesn't make an audible noise, but it feels way more loose/shaky when I take my hand and just jiggle it. The driver's seat, on the other hand, seems very sturdy.

I brought this up to the service advisor 3 times, and it's almost laughable he told me it's "by design" because all other 09+ TLs behave the same way. I'm so unhappy about it, my previous 06 TL didn't do that. Anything we can do about it? Is any dealership aware of this and willing to contact Acura Corporate office for a fix? I've never heard anything more ridiculous than this - loose passenger seat is normal and it's by design!!!

I have noticed the same - can't seem to narrow it down - just comes and goes -
but like above I slap the passenger seat head rest and it stops

My driver's seat is the one I have a problem with. It makes no noise, but it moves ever so slightly with every moderate (or harder) acceleration or braking event. The dealership's serive writer said it was the way it was designed. I asked why a shim can't be installed to eliminate the slop which is allowing this to happen, and was told that when Acura gives written instructions to do it, they will. Until then, the piece of the car that I have more contact with than any other part of the car (except maybe the steering wheel) is really starting to bother me. I may pull the seat out myself and get to work on trying to find the right fix.

On my fix I posted about my seat repair, when the parts and fix was done, my seat was stiff like the drivers side. Before the fix, it was loose and would move like it was weak.
