Oil residue on valve cover bolts

Odd....but theres a bit of oil residue on one of the valve cover bolts (center one) which I can see when opening the hood.

Anyone else experience this? Anything to write home about and be concerned? Or, don't bother with it?

Car does burn 1 qt / 2000 miles or so.

I had the same symptom. I replaced the PCV and the bolt w/new washer.

Good advice above. It is likely the sealing washer beneath the bolt. Maybe try that first (cheapest fix) to see if that solves it. You may need to change out the PCV as well.
