Noise when turning car off

hey i was wondering if anybody has heard any strange noises when turning off their TL?? The car rides fine i dont have any probs but i did notice that whn i turn the car off it makes a grinding sound.. i first heard it after i parked for the nite. it was loud enough to hear with the radio on.. i repeated to turn car on and off several times and the noise cont.. i know for sure its coming from the engine just not sure if its a major issue... when u guy have the time listen to see if it happ to ur car mayb its jus me.
