Need some help - Dealer issues
Hey Everyone... Sorry I seem to be whoring out this board lately with my questions.
Anyway, I'm having a problem and not sure what my options are. When I picked up my car new from the dealer, there was small but noticeable mark on the bumper, my friend saw it at first and rubbed it with his hand, and I looked and thought it was just a water mark or sticky residue or something from the wash they gave it. My first fault was not at least showing it to the SA, but it was about 8pm and night, and we were in a bit of a rush since my wife and friends hadn't eaten dinner yet, and were getting a bit cranky... so I had to get moving.
Well, after taking it home, giving it a wash, sealant, wax it was clear this was not going to wash off. It looks like it's possible when they took the bumper off to put the underbody spoiler on they have bumped it and dropped it.
So far the dealer has tried to buff it out and I guess another guy came in to do some touch up and more buffing on it. But they aren't going to do a bumper swap since I didn't say anything when I drove it off the lot, and I can't prove it was there when I left, even though both me and my friend saw it.
Maybe I just have to chalk it up to learn from my mistake and move on... but I don't know if there is anything else I can do. They're still working on it now, and i'm picking it up tonight... The only other option they said was to wet said and repaint the bumper, but they didn't recommend it (and it doesn't sound like a good idea to me).
Sorry for the long post.. any thoughts?

Yea, I would have liked to have that option, but here in NE it gets dark at like 6 now... weekends just don't work for me...
But they're in the process now of trying to buff it out, I guess the guy said it looks much better than before. I pointed out when i was there that the bumper was slighted misaligned when they put it back on, and the underbody spoiler was not totally adhered to the bumper (slight gap at the bottom). So they're going to work on it more tomorrow and get it fixed (hopefully).
We'll see what happens...

when my friend bought his 08 type-s, he went back to the dealer a week later after purchasing it and there someone noticed that the top of the trunk had a small nick. He spoke with the manager and they took care of it. It was problably caused by small flying rock, who knows, but not even my friend has noticed it. Funny thing is it was an Acura valet guy who pointed it out to my friend.
When I picked up mine it was drizzling. The next day I noticed two SMALL paint nicks on the rear passener side door and the edge of the driver's door.
To this day I wonder how the one on the driver's door got there. But, I didn't want to waste my precious time with the dealer so I just touch them up with touch up paint. I figured in about a year there'll be nicks every where from road debris.
