The ENTER on my multi-jog button has worn off and the light looks awful through it. I purchased a replacement. The knob is held in place by some snap tabs as can be seen looking at the new knob, but I cannot see how to release the old one without concern for breaking the tabs off the actual stem that the knob snaps onto.


Has anyone replaced one of these, or have access to information about the process?

did you check the manual to find a replacement procedures?

 

I did not have access to the service manual, but I did receive a private message from a user that had the page for the Interface Dial assy. The instructions just state to apply slow steady pressure to remove the knob. This seemed the only way to me from looking that the knob, but I was concerned about damaging the shaft of the interface dial.

Now I know I should be able to safely remove it.
