I have a 2011 TL TECH that is only 2 months old. The other day when I exited the car and pressed the door handle lock it did not lock. had to use the Fob to lock.

When I came back to the car after placing my hand on the dorr handle it would no unlock.

upon entering the car, it insisted I insert the fob in order to start and has ever since. Fob 2 which has only been used once also does the same thing...

Any ideas? My dealer over the phone did not have a quick solution.

Check the switch inside the glovebox. Make sure the keyless option is set "ON"

If the suggestion above does not work, your fobs may need new batteries (although that seems unlikely).

Can't believe the dealer didn't just ask you if the master Keyless switch was turned off. AZine to the rescue!
