Mild grinding shift

Before taking car in and spending thousands of dollars I am hoping I can get some advice on what could be the problem. I hear a mild grinding sound when shifting in low gears at a low low speed. Not every time but is noticeable. I pray its not the transmission going out. 92k miles on it. Thanks in advance!

Pretty simple fix, replace your MTF with ACDelco Synchromesh Friction Modified. Note, there are two ACDelco Synchromesh formulas, make absolutely sure you buy the Friction Modified stuff.

The linked Manual Transmission Fluid should only be used for manual cars. It works beautifully though.

When you talk of mild grinding while shifting gears I assumed you were talking about a car with a manual transmission; if you have an automatic then disregard everything I said.

Three, the manual transmission takes 2-quarts, 10-ounces.
