So last week I hit 15% on the oil service A1..So I decided to call and make an appointment and while there to fix all the little stuff I have noticed.

First thing they did was re-balance all my tires because I noticed shaking while driving over 60. Put all new weights on my tires because they were rusting. They then did an allignment.

On the driver side seat, my leather (umber) was folding and causing it to turn black (like a ripping effect). They redid the whole upholster seat from the top to the bottom, brand new....she also said if it happens again not to worry and bring it in.

Also changed my door courtesty lights, because I messed them up while trying to install new leds

While there I did mention to them that one of my speakers is cracking and I thought it was done...so they said no problem and changed it, she said it was not a big deal and that happens a lot.

Took 2 days because they had to order a few parts for the seat to be redone...but I got to drive a brand new Acura MDX which was not bad !


Of course they changed my oil also....

all in all EXCELLENT experience at my local ACURA

O yeah the dealership/stealership charged me 70 bux for oil change so not bad...Norris ACURA in Ellicott City MD

 

well, you lucky, i went to my local Stealership and when i told them i have rotors warped, they say that its gona be covered... anybody have same problems or its just me? i mean its getting worse and worse

 

Glad to hear you had a positive experience at your stealership TLsMD. I had a similar experience @SterlingMcCallAcura in Houston,TX and paid about $70 and was put in an MDX. I didn't have as many warranty issues though, just the spoiler replaced. +1

 

Stealerships are your best friends, as long as you still get warranty coverage.

Sometimes, they're only stealerships when you're out of warranty.

 

I find it funny that they fixed all these things and got an oil change and it only cost you $70 and you still called them a stealership. In this case you might be the stealercustomer Especially since you damaged the door light and let them fix it.

Can't say that I blame you though...thanks to Acurazine, my dealership only ever sees me for parts and questions.

I take my car to an acura dealer that I think is excellent, does not overcharge or try to sell unneeded service. My car is long over it's warranty. Recently they replaced my glove box that was jammed shut free. At my oil/fitler change and tire rotation/balance they found a nail in one of the tires. They fixed that-no charge for any of it.

 

when you mean that your seats was folding.. you mean creases?

and fading color..
they replaced it already so no pictures sorry.
