Anyone know how to remove this green clip? It is really in there and I can't pry it out real well. I bought a new a-pillar and need to remove that so I can install the new one with the new green clip.

Has anyone messed with that yet?

I personally have not removed this clip, but the service manual says it breaks on impact. I suggest you disconnect your battery first as a safety precaution since the airbag is in the vicinity.

Yes, you just have to hammer it in. This will break off the inside "arms" that are preventing the clip from being pulled out. Then you can pull out the clip with ease.

I know this is an old thread, but where can i buy replacement clips if I need to take off the a-pillar?
