HID Ignition problems

My Passenger side HID headlight is giving me problems, and i just wanted to get some feedback...

I feel like a noobie asking this, but when i turn on the headlights, the bulb wont ignite... i have to turn the headlights Off & On like 2-3 times until it finally ignites...

Should i focus on the bulbs? Or does this seem like a Ballast problem? I have Kaixen 6000K D2S bulbs in there, so I want to take this into my own hands, before I go to the dealership

Thanks

did you use a relay when installing? I know cars with auto on/off headlights like ours we require a relay. Also from past experience with my other car and HID's I had loose wiring. I had to remove the electrical tape and fasten and then re apply.

See... if these were an aftermarket HID system, first thing i would check is the relay...

but do our OEM headlights use a relay of some sort? would the relay be in the fuse box under the hood?

If you only change the OEM bulbs I guess it would most likely be the bulbs. I haven't seen anyone on the forums complain about the bulbs being an issue. Now if it didn't turn on at all then I would say check the ballast or the relay. But first like he said if you can try the OEM bulbs to see if they work.
