Did a search and didn't see anything on this, but for the last two days, my passenger side low beam (HID) has been hyperflashing. No recent changes to lighting/electrical. The bulb in there is about 3 and a half years old; a 6000K bulb from iJDM that I had put in when I had the headlight replaced. I understood that when HID's were dying, they dimmed and purpled-out, but this is just a rapid flash. Is this also a symptom of end-of-life (a short life for an HID, I think)? Anyone ever seen this?

 

Looks like the headlight answered the question for me. It flickered out last night altogether, so it looks like it is a dead bulb. Got new bulbs ordered, and will have to swap them out next week.
