Help! Malfunction indicator light
My malfunction indicator light turned on when i came to a full stop from a slope and put my gear from D to N.
I quickly pulled over to the side of the road and shut the engine off. I went through the owner's manual to check. After i did open my gas cap and closed it back with 3 clicks. But the last time i went to the pump was about one week ago, and there was about 1/2 tank of gas left at the time when the indicator came on.
Right now i am sort of confused what might be wrong with the vehicle.
Any suggestions what i should do??
Or maybe any of you guys had this kind of stuff happened before???

if you are talking about the little "!" light above the "PRNDS" lights it could be many different things. anything from an unfastened seatbelt to a maintenance reminder. more details would help us figure out whats wrong.

djtanveer: It is the yellow indicator with the design of an engine block with a fan blade on the left side. Sort of looks like a helicopter. It is located bottom left from the "low oil pressure indicator" and left from the charging system indicator.

I did most 150 km of normal city driving with the occasional rev exceeding over 4 thousand rpm. Did not ran into anything, the car felt fine overall. This is why i am confused why the indicator light would pop on so randomly.
