headrest fix or replacement headrests
2014 TL
The headrest pushes my head too far forward. I have tried every seat config possible, and end up turning the headrest backwards on long trips to relieve the pressure on my neck. I saw someone bent the posts of the headrests on youtube to correct this, which I tried but was not able to accomplish without them rotating in the headrest.
Are there any replacement headrests from older model cars that will fit the 4G TL that aren't so aggressively angled forward? I see one person had the same idea on another thread, to get an older TL or early 2000s accord headrests:

For anyone saying this shouldn't bother me, it does. I have a back problem, and will either have to fix this or get a different car

16lb sledge hammer and a 2x4?
Edit: not sure about safety in an accident though if you bend them and change the angle...

Hard to pound the foam padding and affect the metal underneath. Actually, i feel it's more unsafe now on long trips due to the discomfort/distraction it causes.

I'm saying maybe try putting the headrest on the ground, put the 2x4 on the metal closest to the headrest so the ends are sticking out, put a knee on the headrest and whack the metal :-)

I tried putting 3 foot pipes on the metal pieces and sticking the headrest under the car for leverage. Ended up lifting the car until the metal started twisting sideways. Those posts are too strong for a hammer and my 160lbs on my knee.

lol, like this guy?
I'm not saying to hit the very end of the metal or trying to bend it with a long pipe, you'd be f'ing with it all day and get nowhere. Just hit the metal almost directly on the 2x4 on the edge where the metal starts sticking out.
Or if you have a vice stick in in there and pound the shit out of it. And not with a framing hammer... Sledge...

Yeah, exactly like that guy. Except my posts started to twist before they started to bend.
I don't have a vice, but I might try that. The problem is the bend part is basically inside the headrest, so it's hard to get leverage on it.
