A few glitches

New to the forum here, still learning the ins and outs of this car so forgive my questions if they seem somewhat ignorant. Just picked up an 09 TL on Friday and has a couple electrical glitches. Not sure if they are all related or what but here what’s happening...

1. driver seat won’t slide or recline. Lumbar still works. Checked fuses and everything looks good.

2. Driver memory doesn’t do anything. Can still adjust mirrors manually though.

3. key fobs won’t open trunk and using #1 key car still says driver 2.

been sifting through the forum the last couple days but haven’t found anything helpful yet. Appreciate any help.

honestly I only checked the fuses directly related to the driver seat. I’m starting to figure out now that other circuits could cause the problem. So I’ll be looking into the rest of them.

Check fuses 15 and 16 under your hood. It’s labeled interior and backup

checked them and they’re both good. Checked the fuses in the passenger box and those were good as well. Do these have issues with wires breaking under the seat like the older generations?

damn. I had those same issues plus some more and it was a fuse In the engine compartment that caused it. I’m not sure I’ve heard of any 4th gen owners having wires break. Sorry buddy. I’m out of ideas.

So a couple things to add, hopefully it’ll help someone help me figure out what’s going on. The battery looks to be brand new. Does anything with the seat memory need to be “reset” after a battery change? Also this key that I thought was #1 actually looks like a “new” replacement. The #2 key appears to be original and does open the trunk remotely. Perhaps this new key is only partially programmed? Any help is appreciated. Trying to avoid a trip to the stealership.

For anyone that may have the same issue in the future with the seat/memory. It ended up being that the seat memory control module was bad. Popped one in from another Acura and I have full mobility again.
