engine swap - from 3.7L oil user to the regular 3.5L

How much would be involved to swap from a 3.7 liter to the 3.5 liter engine?
I was thinking for those that have engines using a lot of oil, maybe they could have the swap done to the slightly less HP 3.5 liter to avoid future oil issues. Would it involve swapping the heads as well?
Would the ECU need to be swapped out too?
Would the manual transmission fit the 3.5 liter block?

If I had a TL-SHAWD 3.7 motor that was consuming oil so much that Acura had agreed to replace it with another 3.7 short block, why not ask Acura to instead install a 3.5 liter motor. Your risk of the same oil consumption problem re-appearing can be avoided. The only compromise is giving away 15 HP. The cost would be zero as Acura already approved the short block replacement under the warranty.
